The Shed at Seabank

Unique self catering accommodation in Plockton
Shed Self Catering in Plockton Entrance

Escape from the city

We have converted our part stone, part wood construction Shed, which originates from around the same time as our house, into a comfortable studio apartment which is traditional on the outside and yet modern on the inside. It features a good sized kitchen with all the expected facilities, including washer/dryer and dishwasher;  leading into a comfortable living area which has a high ceiling with featured beams.

The accommodation also contains a dining table, a settee and armchair, WiFi, a Smart TV with Freeview channels and Netflix. There is also a CD player with Bluetooth connection.

The bedroom is upstairs from this living area and offers a built in queen size bed in a gallery area, and in common with all other parts of the accommodation, oak has been used to retain the traditional feel of the building.

Bring the outside in

Out from the sliding patio door there is an area of decking which captures the sun for long periods (when it is out) and is the perfect place for a quiet drink or to read a book in peace. Should you wish the seaside, our quiet water-side garden is available with its glorious views over Loch Carron . . . . where you can sit in the shade of the cherry tree or bask in the sunshine (weather depending).

We love the way the studio has turned out and are offering it to let on a weekly basis to anyone who shares our opinion of the premises. It is really only suitable for two people and accommodation in Plockton of this size and at this price is not common. Have a look at the photographs and see if it suits you.
